At Numeracy Consultants, we're dedicated to improving math education with a practical, research based, back-to-basics approach. Our aim is to provide teachers with straightforward math intervention materials and a well-thought-out instructional method grounded in research-based strategies and best practices, supporting RTI or MTSS interventions.
Our carefully designed math intervention approach, informed by research-based methodologies, along with our assessment systems, focuses on essential numeracy skills, multiplicative thinking, and fractional concepts. Understanding the importance of assessment in student success, we empower teachers by showing them how to use our research-based math assessments effectively. By incorporating these assessments, teachers can guide students in developing crucial skills, laying a solid foundation for more advanced mathematical concepts based on research-backed principles.
We offer four meticulously crafted programs: the Primary Numeracy Intervention Program (Kdg-3rd), the Multiplicative Thinking Program (3rd - 5th), the Word Problem Intervention Program (K-5), and the Fractional Reasoning Program (3rd - 6th). Each program is thoughtfully designed to address specific grade levels and mathematical concepts, ensuring a targeted and effective intervention. All three programs offer a free online training webinar / training, free assessments, workbooks, frameworks, lesson plan template, printables, and over 150 free resources to support the programs.
We understand that teachers require robust support for a successful intervention program, regardless of whether they implement a Response to Intervention (RTI) model or follow a Multi-Tier Systems of Support (MTSS) framework. That's why our free math intervention programs are carefully designed to cater to the needs of tier 1, tier 2, and tier 3 interventions. We provide the resources and materials necessary for each tier, empowering teachers to deliver targeted instruction and support at every level.
